Ukiyo Heroes

A gallery of well known video game characters as they would have been depicted in traditional Japanese art. Artist Jed Henry has been doing this series for a while now, but he's finally got enough of them together to run them as a collection.

We ALL know someone like Kyle, you know the type, the spotty nerd with glasses & no friends who eats alone at lunchtime in the school canteen. The only difference is Karate Kyle will destroy you!

I dunno, but there is something slightly attractive and dangerous happening at the same time here? Maybe it's a 'no pleasure without pain' kinda thang? For those of you who love babes with some serious mouth machinery !

So here it is, the day of the week that feels like your human reset button has been engaged and life returns to, well, exactly the same as it did last week. That only leaves you 7 days to f#ck it all up again. Meanwhile, here are some pics.

Partying is fine but unless you're partying hard there's really no point. It's like they always say: If you're not absolutely bombed then you might as well not exist. Everyone here knows that & follows that mantra to the letter.

Guys stare at women. it's what they do. Especially when the women are wearing as little as these ones are. Regardless nobody wants to be unsubtle enough to get caught staring like all of these lecherous gentlemen.

Advertising is balls. It's a fact. When you see a branded bit of content you tend to sigh heavily and attempt to block out the messages, jingles and catchphrases. It's about time someone subverted them in the name of lolz!

It was a great New Years Eve party, wine, women & song flowed like it'd never end. Now there is the small problem about making it home, which sudddenly seems a looong way away, if you can still remember where it is?
