Another week has gone by and Monday rolls round again. If you're anything like me you're chomping at the bit for something to do other than work. Luckily for you we've prepared a nice big pic-dump for you to enjoy.

Our world is an amazing place, sometimes we take it too much for granted, just imagine what beauty an alien would make of the earth. The National Geographic Photo Contest 2011 shows us just that. be amazed.

Taken with a fast enough shutter and a skilled photographer, a picture of someone getting water thrown at them can look as good as these. They might not be the most practical hats in the world but they're pretty damn cool looking!

I'd put my 'chen' on her 'bund'. I honestly don't even know what that was supposed to mean. I think it was just meant to sound vaguely sexual. Yep. I want to do vaguely sexual things to this woman.

Geeky gamer girls are a rare breed. These she-nerds could be the real deal or they could be of the Olivia Munn "will geek for $$$" variety. To be honest though I'm not sure if I really care.

Are you worried that you're a little bit on the untidy side? Really? Believe me, you're nothing compared to these people. If untidy was akin to a punch in the arm then these offenders would be standing trail for mass murder.

Someone finally turned the rubbish you buy in the souvenir shops into awesomeness - But would you go to the lengths this person did? I don't think I could, but the results are amazing - Who would have thought that you could turn all this into art ?!

Some people are definitely on a completely different wavelength than the rest of us and what they take for normal everyday activities would send the rest of us running for the hills. It's a very strange planet we live on.
