Makeup Artist Transforms Herself Into Movie Characters, Monsters, And Creepy Alien Creatures
Instagram is rife with makeup artists showing off their skills at transforming themselves into celebrities or cartoon characters, or terrifying monsters, which is exactly what the very talented L.A.-based SFX and beauty makeup artist Emily Anderson has been doing.
She's worked on videos for David Guetta and special effects for Captain America: The Winter Soldier—and she's fond of turning her skills on her own face creating characters from movies, like Venom, the sandworm from Beetlejuice, and Gizmo, along with a whole host of demons and weird creatures she designs herself.
Emily's also not afraid to venture into the dark side of Disney characters, she's painted some pretty disturbing portraits of an evil Donald Duck with rows of razor-sharp and glowing eyes, as well as a scary Mickey Mouse who looks vaguely demonic.
The kids will love it. Well, maybe not, but it will give them nightmares for years. So that's a good thing, right?
Her amazing creations can sometimes take her up to eight hours to complete, and when you see the fantastical results you'll understand why.
