Welcome to WonderCon 2011

It's a collection of some of the best sci-fi costumes on the planet. From classic cosplay to home-made mashups like the Wolverine/Bobba Fett crossover and completely original ones like Unemployed man.

The goal of this project was to take the song "The Dead Flag Blues" and match it with striking imagery from the Half-Life 2 series to create a unique video that fans can hopefully enjoy, and get a bit of nostalgia.

Threads was aired on 1984 to an unsuspecting British public and, in just one airing, it put the UK off nuclear war for good. It’s grim viewing and just try and imagine how it would’ve impacted its audience in a pre-internet ara.

Absolutely terrifying. Not the caterpillar, but the fact that a scene this bad wasn't left to rot on the cutting room floor. Still, at least it's pretty damn hilarious which makes up for it slightly...

Okay, so the title gave away the ending a bit but hey, at least that's another thing checked off the list of weird stuff that you'd never seen before. Sure, it's not one of the important ones, but it's a start...

Just watching this compilation of people, and animals, being sporty and extreme and having great fun is tiring enough. So pretend you were there, instead of sitting at home staring at some moving pixels.

It’s kinda hard to tell if this is a real car or a radio controlled toy. Either way I think i want one. It’s a 1:5th scale, 2 and a half foot long, 16 pound wooden version of a 1970 mk1 escort rally car synced to audio of the real thing.
