Expectations Vs Reality

It's always the same, isn't it, especially during the holiday season. You build up expectations in your head about how it will be and then the cold reality of 'how it really is' slaps you in the face. Sigh

MOM.....LOOK AT ME....LOOK AT ME MOOOOOOM?? Some people will do anything to gain their their parent's attention and in the process seriosuly hamper their chances of ever working in the service industry.

With the football season kicking off again around the world it's time to celebrate in style - How I'd love to score with these girls' - GOAL!!!

You don't often see girls with heavy weaponry. You see them with lollipops and copies of that Shades of Gray thing and hair brushes and glasses of wine and other girls, but you rarely if ever see them with big guns. Until now.

Get ready for some artistic eye candy as you see some fine examples of incredible artworks adorning urban neighborhoods. Some call it art, others call it vandalism. One things for sure, it definitely brightens up inner city living.

They're your friends, girlfriends or strangers who like to share a joke. They don't mind if you look because secretly they love the attention. Women, we salute you, with our hands & sometimes with other parts of our anatomy.

Summer (remember that?) means hanging out at the beach all day long (if you are lucky enough not to have a real job) and taking in the total funny eye candy of everyday people going about their, sometimes, weird, buisness.

It might not be the most original fancy dress costume, but it's pretty easy to put together and pretty damn effective. All you need is a face, a knife, some guts and a zipper to glue to your face afterwards. Enjoy!

So the Olympics and the paralympics are over. The races have all been run, the medals have all been handed out and the politicians have all received their rightful booing. Time to admire the subversive street artists take on the proceedings.

A random bunch of über-hot non-fishfaces that we can all agree are ball-achingly SUPER-HOT. Hotter than salsa dancing on the moon in an acrylic jumpsuit. Hotter than sitting on a barbecue dressed as Jabba the Hut. Etc.

It's a wonder of nature (or fluke) when it comes to taking a photograph of a fast moving event, one micro-second too early or too late and you will have missed the crucial moment where it all comes together. Life's awesome.
